Worm-on-a-String

The Worm-on-a-String brings a rewarding sensory element to the gift box. The Worm-on-a-String can be viewed as a fidget toy that children love to hold and weave in and out of their fingers. Our community of kids of all age groups (young and old) had fun naming the worms and even building them houses out of cardboard and treating them like a pet. This Search and Find book scored 5/5 for the fun factor, by our panel of kids, as they loved searching for their well-known Minecraft characters from their on-line world. It is very well illustrated, with enough of a challenge for the Year 5-6 age group. Your child should enjoy the quick wins of the ‘look and find’ experience, creating feelings of reward in a healthy and off-screen way. Developmentally, this book is excellent for sharpening those visual perceptual and concentration skills. This is bound to provide hours of off-screen fun!

A handheld 3D maze game. Another toy that was rated 5/5 for the fun factor by our panel of kids. Their parents said they couldn’t put it down! It’s perfect for eye-hand coordination, not to mention concentration and spatial awareness, as your child rotates the spherical puzzle to guide the ball through the 3D maze. Another excellent choice for achieving both quick and progressive wins to ensure captivating screen-free fun. Best of all – it can be played over and over again!

Planet Earth Activity Set

Learn about our planet with this activity packed box set. It includes a 72 piece jigsaw puzzle; 48 x 72cm poster; 25 double sided trivia cards and a 3D wooden model kit of a mammoth. This box set provides the perfect opportunity for fine tuning fine motor skills, visio-spatial perception and concentration skills with fun educational trivia cards for learning.
